C&B Drainage Contracting Ltd completed public stormwater and wastewater infrastructure works for a five-lot residential subdivision in Northshore, Auckland. The project included 70m of 225mm PE stormwater pipe outside the site boundary, including a 20m section of 150mm ductile iron pipe replacement, together with 40m of 180mm PE stormwater pipe and 40m of 180mm PE wastewater pipe installed by underground boring within the site. Multiple manholes were constructed, with electrofusion-welded saddle connections used for the PE pipework. Restricted working space and very soft ground conditions presented additional challenges, requiring careful planning and construction methods. All works were completed in accordance with Auckland Council and Watercare requirements.
